We are mothers.

Laura: 

I am a fully qualified Norland Nanny and maternity nurse with over ten years of experience supporting various high-profile/busy clients and larger childcare settings. Becoming a mother also gave me further insight into the emotional demands and requirements needed to maintain a family life. I have had first-hand experience of the gap often left by traditional agencies, and it was upon sharing experiences with Gwen that we bonded over our prior challenges and ideas of how to improve the service for parents, childcare settings and talented childcare professionals.

Gwen: 

Having managed the joy and hurdles of maternity leave and transitioning back to international corporate assignments, I found that getting the right level of support for the family at each stage was vital to making family life 'happy' and not 'just about work'. Returning to business life, we (my partner and I) became highly frustrated by the lack of engagement and support for new and transitioning mums from traditional forms of childcare. To put it bluntly - what was on offer took a long lead time to put in place and was sometimes inflexible, meaning that we needed to blend several different services to keep us all supported. One day, I met Laura, and we traded experiences; we decided that our skills complemented one another, and here we are today! 

Our aim is to partner with families and childcare settings to ensure that talented childcare professionals are perfectly matched and supported to ensure the best experience and development opportunities for children and their 'community of care'.
